Several Gentlemen give a Pigskin Saddle and Bridle for the Best (Hunter Class) Performer over 3 Flights of Hurdles. Value £l2 12. National Mortgage and Agency Company give a Piece of Plate to the Largest Prize-taker in Short-horned Cattle. Value £lO 10s. The Timaru Butchers give a Prize to the Largest Prize-taker in Fat Cattle. Value £lO 10s. New Zealand and Australian Land Company give Cup for the best Yearling Colt or Filly by “ Farmers’ Fancy.” The Company will not compete for the Prize. Value, £6 6s. The Trustees of the late John Cramond give a First Prize of £3, and Second Prize of £2, for the best Two-year-old Colt or Filly by Draught Entire “Young Royal Conqueror.” Mr James Sullivan gives a Prize of Six Guineas for the Best Yearling Colt or Filly by “ Young Conqueror.”
