Seiaura of Smuggled Goods. Auckland, Sept. IG. Sub-Inspector Partly has made another seizure of smuggled goods. A man named Jacob Scuft landed at Lyttelton with £ooo worth of jewellery from Sydney. He evaded the Customs there, and sold a portion at Christchurch, Wellington, West Coast aud Kelson, and was selling the balance at Auckland,when the police made a seizure. The goods smuggled were valued at £l5O wholesale. A penalty of £IOO, with forfeiture, and costs was imposed.
