[Per “Times” Special Wire.] A Sforoster S’ined. Christchurch, Sept. 10. At the Lyttelton Magistrate’s Court this morning, J. S. Wilcox, secretary of a lodge of Foresters, was fined 20s for neglecting to forward annual returns of the state of the Society to the Government Registrar. Buncclin RSayoralty. Dunedin, Sept, 10. It appears that Judge Bathgate is not on the city roll, and is therefore ineligible for Mayor, Councillor Ross lias been definitely brought forward in opposition to Mr Fish. 23rowncd. The body found in the Kaikoura ha s been ideniified as that of Charles Coulter, a baker, who had been drinking heavily for some time before his disappearance.
