SALE OF THE WAIMATE PLAINS.
It is notified in the “ Gazette ” re sale of Waimatc Plains, that sections on deferred payments will be open for application on Monday, 2;3th October, at the Land Offices, (Jar!vie, and Hawera. Sections for which there are more than one application will be submitted to auction between the applicants only on Thursday, the 28th October, at Hawera. The price of land on the deferred payments will bo To per acre. Five shillings per acre will have to be deposited on making application, and each applicant will only be allowed to apply for one section on deferred payment. Applicants for land on deferred payment arc fo send their applications and deposits through the post to the Laud Office Carlyle, Fatea, on or before the 25th October. The laud open for selection comprises 7500 acres on the
west bank of the Waingongoro river, having a frontage of nearly three miles to the sea, being part of the main coast road line from Havvcra to New Plymouth. Information respecting applications may bo had from any of the Commissioners of Crown lands.
