THE MUNICIPAL ELECTION.

[to the editor] Sir, —I find there is some doubt among many of the ratepayers of the Borough as to whether they have a vote for the election to take place to-morrow. The present burgess roll was made up and signed April 28 last, while tiic rate now due in many places was not made until May 25—a month afterwards. It will he seen that as the burgess roll now in force contains the names of the whole of tins ratepayers, or nearly so, the rate made: last May does not affect the election tomorrow in any wav.—l am, &c. WILLIAM BROWN.
