[Reuter’s Agency.] Victorian Politics. Melbourne, August 30. In the Legislative Assembly a Reform Bill will be introduced for dis mission, but in all likelihood will be deferred till next year. An Jaiigrc. Sydney, August 30. The ease lias commenced against the proprietors of the Sydney “ Evening News” for contempt of court, in commenting on Judge AVindcyer’s summing up in an action for libel. The defen. dants offered a qualified apology, to which the Bench objected, and the case was adjourned till to-morrow.
