Also, for the purpose of importing from Ins forest in the North I sland, Timber of the best deser rption and preparing the name for market in every available form. Included in lire above will ire tiro well known brigantine Nightingale, and about 1000 acres of Freehold Kauri Bush Land in lire North Island. For the acquirement 01. which business and property the Directors have entered into an agreement with Mr Bruce, that the same he taken over by the Company at the amount as lixed by tiro valuers appointed. Mock will be taken on whatever date the Company take possession, and debts due will be transferred on the same date, Mr Bruce guaranteeing the same all good to the Company. Tiro Flour, Oatmeal, and Pearl Barley Mills will compare favorably with any works of the kind iu the Australian Polonies (rit/e report of valuators attached). The machinery is capable of preparing for tire market about xO tons Flour pm day, wiLir I tons of Oatmeal and 1 tun of Pearl Barley; and that in the Sawmills (including Planing and Moulding) is equal to an out-put of 10,(100 superficial feet of marketable Timber per day. The Timber Business is already extensive and increasing. The Freehold Bush Land iu the district of Auckland belonging to the Promoter, is roughly estimated as yielding at from ten to fifteen years’ supply of lust-class Kauri and Red Pino Timber. Vessels of 100 tons burden can load with perfect safety all the yearround, in close proximity to the Bush, arid have qmck despatch. The important advantages in favor of shareholders in this Company are apparent and manifold. They enter directly, with a knowledge of the full cost arm liability, into a large undertaking, in full operation, upon a lixed date, with a complete and first class plant in each department, a staff of experienced workmen, and an established good-going busim ss connection. I hero is no waiting for tire erection of buildings and machinery, or lire preparation of plant in the present instance; neither arc the financial interests of shareholders subject to tire uncertainties, usks, and delays incidental to the establishment of a new and untried business. In all these respects everything is complete and in full working order —the returns begin with the date of entry.
The folio veiny repcciulit ios in connection with the industries may ho mentioned, viz: that the I'lour ?Till department at_ once supplies a much-felt want in tno district amongst all classes of th.e community. To the farmers it is a boon, as it provides a good and ready local market for farm produce ; to baker's and others in providing a flour of Rckatnvle-jcd superior (quality. Ample testimony can he had as to the genuine equality of tno products, wherever these have been introduced tmoughout tnc colonies. Timaui being tlie centre for South Canleihmy, the largest grain producing district in’ New Zealand, and a Port for shipping, with the harbor improvements no w being car; led out, it is in the best position possible lor offering its breadstuff's to the markets of the world, which shows that there is ample scope for such a magnificent concern as the Plour Mills are. The central position of the Mills, and their immediate proximity to Prey street, the Great North Hoad, and to the Main Line of Kailway, with which latter they arc directly connected by extensive sittings on two sides, gives special advantages for economically working the concern, enabling customers in ami out of town to obtain their goods with dispatch and without any extra handling or cartage. The Business that the Promoter now offers lias been worked by him up to its present dimensions and position during the last fourteen years with much success ; but in order to keep pace with tire growing improvements of the colony, he turds a large, capital is required to more fully dovelopc the trade he has established in Tim am. Mr P.rucc will identify himself with the Management, and retain one-fourth_ of the capital of the Company, thus showing his faith in the concern in the most practicable manner possible. 'flic situations of the Mills, the premises, machinery, plant, and whole appliances arc of a character that naturally and speedily opens up a widely-extended and extremely prolilie trade, and the products being of every day requirement, call forth the employment of additional capital as the business devclopes, and for winch the Promoter guarantees to each Shareholder ten per cent per annum as the tirst charge on the profits of the Company for two years. The Promoter now offers to investors an opportunity to dovelopc a local and colonial industry, and to participate in handsome profits as a return for the capital invested. The Company will ho governed by a Board of Directors chosen by the .Shareholders. Particulars as to amount of valuation made Ac., is heiewitu attached, which is accepted by the Promoter and the Provisional Directors. Copies may be had by investors at the Ollice of the Brokers.
