Swannell, £5 12s Od ; Cornish v. Moore, £1 9s Od; Cork v. George, £1 17s Gd.
Stansell v. 11. Alexander and another —Claim £3 Is, balance of account for advertising - in the South Canterbury Times.
Mr Haincrsley for plaintiff.
His Worship read a telegram he had received from the defendant, the manager of the Byronic Comedy and Burlesque Company, from Oamaru, asking that the case might be adjourned for a fortnight. Judgment for amount claimed with costs.
Some other unimportant cases were also disposed of.
