Having treated the clothes to the usual overnight's soaking and wrung (hem out, and soaped the very dirty paits, place the machine in the ccntie of the boiler, then fill the boiler with water to within two inches of the top of the pipe of the machine place in the clothes with the usual quantity of soap, according to the size of the boiler, and in about twenty minutes from the time the water first boils the clothes will ho thoroughly washed. After being taken from the boiler, rinse the clothes thoroughly, and pass immediately through the blue water.
