Mails close at the Chief Post Office Timaru, for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under Saturday, July 24 For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Taiaroa, at 2.45 p.m. Wednesday, July 28. For the United Kingdon, via Brindisi, the Continent of Europe, India, China, Mediterranean Ports and the Australian Colonies, at 4 p.m. Late fee letters, bearing one additional rate per letter will be received till 4.15 p.m. Correspondence intended to be forwarded by the above routes must be specially addressed.
