CRICKET.
THE AUSTRALIANS AT HOME. [Bv Oaiu.k.] Loxdox, July 19. The Australians commenced a match to-day, against Eighteen of the Crystal Palace Club, on the Palace ground. There was a largo attendance, the weather being tine throughout. The Australians went in first and made 155 runs before the last wicket fell, Blackham being the highest scorer with 49, when he' was given out leg before wicket. The Palace eighteen then commenced their first innings, and when stumps were drawn lor the day, the} r had scored 14 without the loss of a wicket. July 20. The cricket match Australians v. Eighteen of the Crystal Palace Club was continued to-day. The Home team went in for their first innings, and were all out for 59 runs. Being 9G runs behind the Australians, they followed their innings, and were disposed of for 97 runs. When the stumps were drawn for the day the Australians had lost no wickets for 4 runs, A capital wicket was pitched, and the ground was in good order. The fielding of the Australian team was excellent throughout.
