CHRISTCHURCH INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION.

The exhibition is again crowded (o-dav. if is estimated that nearly 10,000 persons have gained admission since the opening. Sonic model ploughs, ships, Ac., and painting on velvet and silk were added this morning. A Commission has been appointed by Govcniment to examine the exhibition, consisting of Mr Wakefield, the lion H. lb (1 reason, and Messrs J|. Wilkin and lb Cmmingham. As .Air Wilkin is unable to act, it is thought Air J. Inglis will bo appointed in his stead. Its conslitution is not giving satisfaction as it is known that the majority are' free traders, and the committee of (lie exhibition thought if the < iovernment acceded to their request they would send down the members of the Koval Commission appointed to consider the local industries question.
