The criminal sessions of the Supreme Court were opened lids morning. The Chief Justice in his charge to the (fraud Jury, said the calender was an average one, and briefly referred to the eases. The case of tf. M. Viekerstaif for larceny is proceeding. A true bill has been found against Thus. Williams for larceny.

The criminal sessions of the Supreme Court were opened this morning. There were nineteen eases. 11. Mason and Wm. Palmer, two hoys, charged with obstructing the railway line, received six weeks’ imprisonment with hard labor.

The Judge’s charge merely congratulated the jury oh the lightness of the calender. George Joseph Alexander pleaded guilty of larceiy, and received six months’ imprisonment. The Grand Jury threw out the bill against Mrs Ferguson, for child abandonment. The Crown decline to give evidence against William Huberts, fur forcible entry, or John Thomson, for breach of Arms Act.
