LONDON PRODUCE MARKET.

Advices just received by the Mail gave the following quotations for New Zealand grain :—AVheat, 46s to 53s per 4961b5; barley, 25s to 29s per 4001bs; oats, 20s to 24s per 3201b5; malt, 60s to 72s per quarter.

In reference to the state of the market a leading English firm writes to their Timaru agent as follows, under date May 7: — “Grain: We enclose two circulars for the two past weeks which will show how our market here has been ruling. You will notice a wide margin in New Zealand prices, some of the shipments arriving in good condition whilst others have proved the reverse, which accounts for the discrepancy.”
