The following telegram, from Mr Turnbull, M.H.R, will be read with pleasure :—■
“ Mr Blair is now making arrangements for proceeding immediately with the Fairlie Creek line. Preference will be given to married men. Those employed will have the opportunity of acquiring land, on deferred payment, near the line.”
