The produce market shows signs of greater activity this week. Wheat is in fair demand for export, and prices show an upward tendency. Oats, which have long been a drug in the market, are now in good enquiry, and prices, have improved within the past week to. the extent of 2d per bushel for good samples. Large quantities of potatoes are coming forward, and quotations are unaltered.- Dairy produce is pleatiful and in good demand. The following are present quotations: —Wheat — Good milling, 3s to 3s 3d; fowls’ wheat, 2s to 2s 6d ; 'barley, 2s to 2s 6d; oats, Is to Is 2d; potatoes, 43s per ton ; onions, 8s per cwt,

Wheat—There is little alteration in the market. Prime samples only are inquired for, medium and inferior remaining dull of sale. Oats are in active request, but_ prices show no'improvement. Prime milling are in request, with few .Barley is in large supply, and little business is done except at greatly reduced prices. Potatoes — Dull of sale. Wheat—Prime milling, 3s 9d ; medium, 3s 6d to 3s 8d ; fowl’s feed, 2s to 2s lOd. ( Oats —Best milling and feed, Is 4d to Is sd. Barley— Malting, 2s 8d to 2s lid ; milling, 2s 3d to 2s 6d. Grass seed, 2s 8d to 3s Od. Potatoes—Derwents, £2 10s to £2 15s per ton.
