QUEEN’S HALL.
The Raphael Star Troupe of gymnasts and acrobats gave a performance iasl night at the Queen’s Hall. The troupe is a clever one of its kind, and some of the feats performed last night would do no discredit to Hie best company travelling. Master Franklyn is described in the bills as “ the indiurubber boy,” and indeed the marvellous manner in which be uses bis limbs fully justifies the title. Miss Melina, a charming young lady acrobat, performed her different feats on the trapeze with ease and gracefulness. Master Burnett, a clever young performer of about twelve years of age, is a very expert rope walker, and last night walked the entire length of the hall on a rope stretched over the heads of the audience. This miniature Blondin is perfectly at home on The rope, and he walked on it both backwards and forwards with tlie greatest case. The troupe leave for Oamaru to-day.
