The market continues dull. All the local mills are fully supplied with grain, and there is an absence of speculative demand. Prices are stationary. Wheat, 2s 6d to 11s Id; fowl’s wheat, Is lOd to 2s -Id ; barley, 2s to 2s 6d ; oats, lOd to Is. Derwent potatoes, 50s per ton

Wheat —There is no alteration to report. Prime samples meet with sales at last week’s quotations. Inferior is unsaleable ; fowl’s feed is in full supply, with but little inquiry. Oats—The market is quiet ; no alteration in value. Barley—A full supply; no sales to report. Grass seed meets with better inquiry, but little business is being done. Potatoes are slow of sale, and prices are a little easier. Wheat, prime milling, 3s 8d to 3s 9d ; medium do, Bs Cd to 3s 8d ; fowl’s feed, 2s 7d to 3s 2d. Oats—Best milling and feed, Is 4d to Is sd. Barley— Nominal; malting, 2s 8d to 3s ; milling, 2s (id to 2s 7d. Grass seed, 2s Cd to ,3s Cd. Bran, £3 per ton. Potatoes—Best Dcrwents, £2 10s to £3.
CmiisTciiuitcn, June IS. The grain market during the past week, n common with general business, hrs been exceeding!}’ quiet. Transactions have been reported in different lines, but there is an absence of life in the market. Wheat is still quoted at 3s (id for first milling, and 3s 3d to 3s 5d for good average samples. The enquiry for seed lots is moderate, and parcels of this class arc quoted at <Js to 4s 3d. Chickwheat is in full supply, and ranges from 2s to 2s (id fellow, and up to 2s lOd for bettor so l Is. The value of oats has not altered to any degree. First class milling commands Is 4d'to Is 4s, and feed quality, Is 2d to Is 3d. The aspect of the barley market is in no way altered from that of last week. Firstclass is in limited supply, and realises 3s 3d to 3s 4d, while good malting samples find buyers at 2s 6d to 3s according to quality. Potatoes arc without alteration, 25s being about the price ruling. The dc : mand is not active, and buyers, are not over eager. Flour is selling at £9 to £lO, according to brand.
