THE AUSTRALIANS AT HOME,

The Austalian cricketers commenced a match to-day at Belfast against eighteen of the North of Ireland. The weather was line. The home team went in first, and scored 100. Spofforth and Palmer howled splendidly, the former taking ten and the latter six wickets. The Australians wont in, and were all disposed of for 102, when the stumps were drawn.
June 16
The match between the Australians and eighteen players of the North of Ireland at Belfast was continued today. The Horae team in their second innings were disposed of for 130 runs. The Australians then went in for their second innings, and have lost no wickets for seventy-four runs. Bannerman, not out, thirty-one runs ; Alurdoch, not out, forty-three runs.
