MELBOUENB PRODUCE MAEKET,
Messrs J. H. Clough and Co. under date June 3, report:— Wheat. —Except for seed lots 4s continues to be a top figure, and we quote as follows: —Prime seed, 4s 3d to 4s 7d ; good milling and shipping, 4s 4d and 4s 4.1 d; inferior and faulty 2s Gd to 4s.
Barley.—Business in this line continues to be restricted to the smallest proportions, and there is very little doing. Sales of malting have been made at from'2s 9d to 3s 6d. Crushing has been sold at from 2s to 2s 4d according to quality. Oats. —There is no special business to refer to in this line and only a trade demand is experienced. Values are —For inferior and medium Is lOd to 2s Id; good to prime feed, 2s 2d to 2s 4d.; milling, 2s 3d per bushel.
