EIGHT CHILDREN AT A BIRTH.

On the 2nd of August, Mrs. Timoth} r Bradley, Johnston, Trumbull County, gave birth to eight children three boys and five girls. They are all living and healthy, but quite small. Mr. B.’s family is increasing fast. Ho married six years ago Eunice Movvery, who weighed 278 pounds on the day of their marriage. She has given birth to two pair of twins and now eight more, making twelve children in six years. It seems very strange, but nevertheless is true, Mrs 13. was a twin of three, her mother and father being both twins, and her grandmother was the mother of five pairs of twins. Mr B. has named her boys after noted and distinguished men—one after the Hon. Joshua Gideings, who has given her a splendid gold medal; one after the Hou, Elijah Champlin, who gave her a deed of fifty acres of land ; and the othei’, James Johnston, who gave her a cow. Mr Bradley says it is profitable to bare twins, and the neighbours have clothed the others since they were born. Mr B. is a poor industrous labourer, and says he will not part with any of his children while he is able to work. —American Paper.
