[Reuter’s Agency.] The Portland Hoax. Melbourne, May 17. The Secretary of State for the Colonics telegraphs to the Governor that there was no passenger or seaman aboard the Knowsley Hall of the name of Webster, when she sailed from England. It is therefore now conclusively proved that the letter found in a bottle at Portland was a hoax.
