[By Telegraph.] INTERNATIONAL STEEPLECHASE. Christchurch, May 18. Strong work was done this morning by the horses engaged for the forthcoming’Stccplcchasc. Venture, who was fancied'’for the Maiden, is reported to have gone wrong. Lonchand, Agent, and Royalty arc the most fancied for the Cup and Handicap, and Clarence and Stella for the maiden.
