S. C. Times Oefice, Monday Evening. , Messrs, Jonas Hart and Wildie report for the past week as follows: — Fat cattle are in good_ supply, prices ruling at about late quotations. We have sold a few small lots privately which would give about 21s per lOOlbs. gheep—There is still a very active demand for all kinds of stores. We placed during the week 500 cross-bred hoggets at 7s 8d; 400 three-quarter bred ewes fullmouth, at 8s 9d ; 250 fat wethers at 9s and 10s each. ,

Horses—There is but little demand for any kind of. horses.. We quote staunch heavy draughts from £35 to £45 ; medium do, £2B to £33; light do, £lB to £22; hacks and light harness horses, from £8 to £l9. Wool, Skins—Our last sale was well attended with the usual trade buyers, and every lot catalogued was quitted at the following rates, viz : Butchers’ cross-bred skins, 2s 9d, 2s lid, 3s Id, 3s 4d, 3s7d, and 4s; farmers’ do; 2s Bd, 2s lid, and 3s 8d; pelts, lOd lid, Is 6d to Is 9d; hides, 3d per lb; fat, l|d (rough) ; rendered fat 21d. Farm Produce —Our sale to-day was remarkably well attended, and a large quantity of produce changed hands at good market rates, viz:—Apples, ss, Gs Gd and 8s 6d per case; pears 9s Gd; potatoes, 50s per ton; onions, Id per lb ; cheese, G.V per lb; bacon, Gd per ,1b ; flour, £lO per ton; bran, 4s 9d per bag ; sharps, 7s per bag; legs mutton, lid each; turkeys, 3s 3d each. , Messrs W. Collins and Co. report: — Flour, £lO per ton ; potatoes, 455; onions, Id per lb; bran, 4s Gd per sack; sharps, 6d ; cheese, GJd per lb ; honey, 4d to 5d per lb;-eggs, 2s per dozen; fowls, 2s Gd to 4s per nair; ducks, 3s to 4s ; geese, 4s each ; turkeys, 4s to 9s each. Messrs Macklcy, Priest and Co. report;— There was a good attendance at our sale on Saturday. The bulk of the general merchandise, tinware, and fancy goods offered found purchasers at satisfactory prices. For farm produce' the bidding was tolerably spirited. - We quote—Potatoes, £2 to £2 10s per ton: carrots, 35s per ton; flour (local), £lO per ton ; onions, Id per lb; teas, etc., at current rates.
