Oats arc-almost unsaleable, and only farmers who are compelled to sell care about quitting their stocks at the rates offered. Although- milling oats arc quoted at as much as 2s 8d per bushel in the Australian'markets, the heavy charges; lor freight, Ac., prevent the state of these markets being taken much advantage of. Wheat is, if anything, a shade lower than last quotations—Prime milling, 3s Gd to 3s 7d; medium samples, 3s 3d to 3s sd. Barley dull of Gale at 3s' 4d do 3s Cd for good malting samples. There is a fair supply 1 of medium and : inferior quality, but the quantity of really prime, is very small. Oats - have • been . coming forward more freely. Barley is dull of : sale, • malsters being at present ; fully stocked. ,We quote wheat, prime milling, 3s lOd to 4s ; medium, 3s 8d to 3s 10d ; inferior and fowl’s feed, 2s lOd to 3s 3d. Oats, best milling, Is 4Jd to Is Cd ; feed. Is. 4d to Is oil. 1 Barley, malting, 3s to 3s 3d; milling, 2s 8d to 3s 2d. Potatoes,’best, £2 5s to £2 10s. Wheat. —The latest advices from Homo still-points to a languish market, although, transactions locally have not been excessive. Sales arc being made at 3.s Gd to 3s Bd, while for hii extra fine sample a trifle over that figure is obtainable. Oats. —Oonsidcrcblc sales have been made during the . week, at the old prices, good stout pats at Is 2d to Is 3d, and for best descriptions Is 4d to Is Tartarians arc slow, of .sale, unles of seed quality. ' Potatoes aro offering freely,. and are quoted at 25s to 27s Gd. Dairy Produce—Butter, BJd to 9d; cheese 4d to 5d.......
