At Winchester Fair, on the 15 th inst., we- sold4oo merino,ewes- at 4s 7d ; 39 Leicester rams, from 12s to £1 Is each . calves, 23s each ; etoors and hoifore, £S 13s’ tO-£5 ss.i ; ..1 - : '-' : Landed Properties. Property is dull of sale and very difficult to .place, even at very reduced prices’. We sold 8 roods 18 perches freehold, in North street, with 5-roomcd cottage, for ;£315. An 80-acre farm ncar Pleasant- Point, for £7 per acre ; one acre, freehold in Epworth, with 7-roomed dwelling, for £IOO, Messrs Mackley, Priest, and Co, held their opening sale in the new auction rooms on Saturday. There was a large attend ancc, competition was brisk and the goods submitted comprising new seasons teas, clothing, fancy goods, &c, found purchasers at satisfactory figures.
