A deputation of railway porters met Mr Stewart, M.H.R., and brought under his notice the hardship’ of being compelled to "work nine hours a day. A Win for the Constable. At the City Court, Conway, the cricketer, was charged with assaulting the police, and Fitzclarence Roberts, a squatter, with attempting, to rescue Conway. The case against the former was dismissed.
