Naylor’s b c Abbot, by Hermit—Barchcttina 3 Last year Petronel ran for the Middle Park Plate, but was not placed. Abbot ran third in the Epsom Woodcotc Stakes, being beaten by Sabella and Prestonpans. Musket, the sire of Petronel, is a well-known horse, and is now in the possession of the Auckland Stud Company, who were offered a very long price for him a short time ago by an Australian breeder.
