[l3v Tjjlegkapu.] The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency report, under date London, April 11: Wool—The sales opened with spirit on the 20th inst. at an advance of Id to 11-d on last sales. The opening catalogue contained 0500 hales, and the sales comprise about 500.000 bales. 50,000 bales have been sent to manufacturing districts. Buyers are active, but trade in the manufacturing districts is not so good. The Continental markets are lightly stocked. The following have advanced since the close of last year:—Creasy Id peril).; clothing, washed, Id ; combing, washed, 2d; scoured, ltd; cross-breds, superior greasy, and superior combing, washed, id to Id. The lambs’ wool market is unchanged. The sales will close on June 12, and (he next, sales will commence on August 17.
