MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Timaru for the following places (subject tof the necessary alterations) as under : 1 , Saturday, April 17. For Northern Ports of Ngav Zealand, per Tararua, at 2.15 p.m. The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco, Avill be despatched from Timaru on Saturday, April 24, and will be due in London on June 8. On and after Thursday, April 15, the f clewing alterations will he made in the despatch and receipt of local mails : Mails close at Timaru— F Christchurch and intermediate offices, * daily at G a.ra., 2.45 p.m., and 4.25 p.m, , Dunedin and intermediate offices, daily at 6 a.m., 12.45 p.m., and 4 p.m. Pleasant Point, Cave, and Albury, daily at 6 a.m., and Pleasant Point and Albury, at 3 p.m. Mackenzie Country, Mondays, Wcdnesand Fridays, ft 6 a.m. Mails arrive at Timaru— From Christchurch and intermediate offices daily at 1.20 a.m., 1 p.m., and 8.15 p.m. „ Dunedin and intermediate offices, daily at 10.45 a.m., and 3 p.m. „ Oaraaru and intermediate offices, daily at 7.45 p.m. „ Pleasant Point, Albury, and Washdyke, daily at 11.5 a.m. „■ Pleasant Point, Cave, and Albury, daily at 7.50 p.m. „ Mackenzie Country, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays,"at 7.50 p.m. (Signed) Sydney R.
