S. G. Times Office, Monday Evening. Messrs 1 Jonas, Hart, and Wildie report last week’s business as follows: Fat Cattle—The market is abundantly supplied. We sold 14 head prime steers at £7 15s, which would give an average of 18s per lOOlbs. Horses —We quote heavy draughts from £4O to £4B ; medium do, £2B to £3B; light do, £lB to &24; hacks and light harness horses, £7' to £ls. Wo sold the steeplechaser Spotted Boy for £l3 10s. 1 Farm Produce—Quantities of produce have changed hands at the following rates, viz.:—Potatoes, £3 5s per ton ; onions, Id to per lb: apples, , 6s, Cd to 8s 6d per case; chicken wheat, 9s.per bag; cheese, 6a to 64d pef'lb; fowls, 3s Gd to 4s per couple. Messrs W. Collins and Co. give the following quotations:—Potatoes, 55s to 60s per ton; onions, 9s 6d per cwt; do, on strings, 12s 6d; carrots, 60s per ton, sacks in ; barley,, for. fowl corn, 6s ; wheat, 7s per sack ;’ apples, in good condition, 8s to 8s 6d; all Ss Od* to 5s per case; cheese, 6d to 6Jd per lb; ducks, 4s Odper pair; geese, 4s tQi 4s-6d, each; fowls, 3s to 4s 6d per pair.
