Ecclesiastical—When living at Fulham,Bishop Tait received the present of an emu from Australia. At a garden party the emu was turned out for exhibition into the meadow. But the cows resented the intrusion, and gave chase to the bird. “ Hallo,” exclaimed Dean Milman, who was present, excitedly “ there goes Colcuao, and all the bishops after hiui!”j
