[Br Telegbai'ii.j [Per Australia at Sydney.] AUCKLAND, Mahcii 2. _ The Australia left Sydney at 3.45 p.m. on Feb. 26, and arrived to-day with 24 passengers for New Zealand, and 63 cn route for San Francisco. She brings dates to Feb. 25. The Bishop of Sydney and members of the Church of England petitioned against the Public Instruction Bill, which passed its third reading by 46 to 9.
