MELBOURNE GRAIN MARKET. Messrs Co., report under date Feb. 10; "Wheat—Prices for good and shipping lots arc about 2d, per bushel better, and there is also a slight improvement noticible in inferior and medium Jots. We quote smutty and inferior to ordinary 9s. 2d. to 4s. 71d., which latter price we obtained for a small lot of 60 bags prime quality from East Charlton. We gold today over 1,000 bags at Bs. 21d. to 4s. according to quality. Oats —Little if any improvement can be noted in this market, as the quantity coming forward prevents any advance in prices. We quote 2s to 2s 4d for medium feed, and from 2s 5d to 2s 7d, for good to best qualities. We sold to-day 727 bags at from 2s to 2s (Id.

Barley—Publicly most of the lots offered were bought in, and there is little interest displayed for anything but prime malting lots. We sold to-day 12!) hags inferior to good at from 3s to 5s Id per bushel, and quote feeding at home 2s Id to 2s (3d, and prime Malting at ss6d per bushel. London. Feb. 23,

Adelaide wheat, per 4!)(ilbs, ex warehouse, s!)s 6d. Best Australian beef tallow quoted at 35s Cd ; best Australian mutton tallow, 3(3s Od. At the wool auctions to-day, 8000 bales have been catalogued, there being an active and firm demand. Australian tallow is declining—best beef to-day is worth 355, and best mutton 37s per cwt.
