Mails close at the Chief Post office, Timaru, for the following places (subject to the necessary alteration), as under Wednesday, Fed. 25. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, New South 'Wales, and Queensland, per Tararua, at 4.20 p.m. Saturday, Fer. 28. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Hawea, at 2.15 p.m. For the United Kingdom, Sandwich Islands, and America, China, Japan, and the Continent of Europe via San Francisco.
