TIMARU—THIS DAY. [Before R. Beetliam, Esq., R.M.] CIVIL CASES. Judgment was given by default in the following cases, with costs: —Evans v. Dennison, £2 11s 7d ; Harnersley v. Wills, £22 5s 4d ; Ncwbcrrv v. Cook, £0 I Os. Kennedy v. Juncker —Claim £3 10s. Judgment for plaintiff for £1 Bs. Trustees of the Oddfellows’ Lodge v. Juncker —Claim £0 ss. Judgment for plaintiffs for £2 18s. Murphy v. Jonas and others —Claim £75 12s 2d. This was a claim for repayment of money for a quantity of bricks that it was alleged were not delivered. Mr Austin for plaintiff and Mr Jameson appeared for the defendant. The case occupied some time in the hearing, several witnesses being examined. Jackson v. Ricards, claim £9 Os 3d. This was a claim for goods supplied. Judgment for plaintiff with costs.
