MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post office, Timaru, for the following places (subject to the necessary alteration), as under : The next Mail for the United Kingdom etc., via San Francisco will .close at Timaru on Saturday Feb. 28, and will be due in London on April 13, 1880.
Mails close at Timaru:— For Christchurch and intermediate offices, daily at 6 a.m., 2.10 p.m., and 4.20 p.m.
For Dunedin and intermediate offices, daily at 6 a.m., 12.55 p.m., and 4 p.m. For Pleasant Point, Cave, and Albury, daily at 6 a.m., and Pleasant Point and Albury at 3 p.m. For Mackenzie Country, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, at 6 a.m. Mails arrive at Timaru:— From Christchurch and intermediate offices, daily at 10.15 a.m. and 1.10 p.m. From Ashburton and intermediate offices, daily at 7.20 p.m. From Dunedin and intermediate offices, daily at 10.45 a.m. and 2.30 p.m.
From Oamaru and intermediate offices, daily at 7.40 p.m. From Pleasant Point, Albury, and Washdyke, daily at 11.5 a.m. From Pleasant Point, Cave, and Albury, daily at 7.35 p.m. From Mackenzie Country, Tuesdays, and Saturdays at 7.45 a.m. AV.
