MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post office, Tiraatu, for the following places (subj ect to the necessary alteration), as under;— Saturday, Jan. 31. For Northern ports of New Zealand, per Wanaka, at 5 p.m. For the United Kingdom Continent of Europe, America, West Indies, China Japan, via San /Francisco and the Sandwich Islands, at 1.30 p.m. . ; ' Money orders and registered letters at 12.30. Late fee letters bearing one additional rate per letter, which will be received at the Chief Post office till 1,40 p.m., and at the railway travelling Post Office Mail Van , , (Northern Express;Train) till 2. 20 p.m. . The European portion of the above mails will be due in London on the 16th of March, 1880. N.B.—A receiving office (for letters) has been established at.Mrs-.Crigkmore& Store, Sorrier of Grey road and Church street, which will be cleared at 8.10 a.m. and 3.15 p.m. daily (Sunday’s excepted.)
