I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on Thursday, the Twenty-second day of January, 1880, a POLE of the Burgesses will be taken at the TOWN HALE, Timaru on the the proposal of the Council of the Borough of Timaru to raise the sum of £(50,000, by way of Special Eoan, for the purpose of constructing Waterworks for supplying tiro Borough of Timaru with water. Such sum to be secured upon the Waterworks, and the interest on a Special Rate of One Shilling in lire Pound Sterling, upon the rateable value of all rateable propeity within the said Borough, and a Water Bate authorised to be made under the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, 187(5. In lieu of the Poll advertised to be taken on the above proposal on Friday, the sixteenth day of January, 1880.
