TIMARU BOROUGH COUNCIL. PUBLIC NOTICE. TIMARU WATERWORKS SPECIAL LOAN OF £(50,000. I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on the Sixteenth Day of January, 1880, a POLL of the Burgesses will be taken at the TOWN HALL, Timaru on the the proposal of the Council of the Borough of Timaru to raise the sum of £(50,000, by way, of Special Loan, for the purpose of constructing Waterworks for supplying the Borough of Timaru with water. Such sum to be secured upon the Waterworks, and the interest on a Special Rate of One Shilling in the Pound Sterling, upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the said Borough, and a Water Rate authorised to be made under the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, 187(5.
