Mails close at the Chief Post office, Timaru, for the following places (subject to the necessary alteration), ns under^ For the United Kingdom via Brindisi and via Southampton, Australian Colonies, the Continent of Europe, India, Afica, China, and the Mediterranean Ports, at 12.30 p.m.
Money orders and registered letters at 11.30. a.m. ... Late fee letters bearing one additional rate per letter will be received at the Chief Post office till 12.50 p.m., and at the Railway Travelling Post Office Mail Van (southern express train) till 1.12 p.m. Correspondence intended to be forwarded by the above routes must be specially addressed.
