TIMARU WATERWORKS SPECIAL LOAN OF TOO,OOO. I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on the Sixteenth Day of January, 1880, a POLL of the Burgesses will be taken at the-TOWN HALL, Timaru on the the proposal of the Council of the Borough of Timaru to raise the sum of TOO,OOO, by way of Special Loan, for the purpose of constructing Waterworks for supplying the Borough of Timaru with water. Such sum to be secured upon the Waterworks, and the interest on a Special Rate of One Shilling in the Pound Sterling, upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the said Borough, and a Water Rate authorised to be made under the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, 187(5.
