+ [By Telegraph.] Dunedin, Jan. 13. In the match England v. the Colonies, the former lost six wickets for 58 runs, their team including Baramore, Spring and Baker. The bowling of McLennan and Frith was excellent. CANTERBURY V. OTAGO. Dunedin, Jan. 12. In their first innings the Otago players scored 105 as against Canter-_ bury’s 190. The second innings of the' Otago men was no belter, the total only reaching 99, so that their defeat in one innings was barely saved. Canterbury won the match easily by 9 wickets.
