Auckland, Dec 3. The following meetings of creditors was held to-day, viz:—H. C. Noyle, of Tauranga—liabilities, £575 ; : assets, nominally £429 ; of James Harris, auctioneer —liabilities, £786; assets, £1319 ; also, of D. J. H. Fisher, brewer—liabilities, £6OO, assets, £SOO. At Mr Buckland’s wool sale to-day all Maori, from the West Coast, Dec 4. lots offered cxccptiog 12 bales, were disposed of at prices one penny per pound higher than last sales. Robert Port, merchant, has assigned his estate. His liabilities are stated to be £45,000 and his assets £66,000. Melbourne, Dec 3. The Australian Alliance Assurance Company’s reserved funds have reached £IOO,OOO, it was resolved to declare a bonus to marine policy holders. London, Dec 1. Three per cent consols. 91 J, ex dividend. The total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 2,000,000 quarters. The total stock of tallow in London on Dec 1 was 13,625 casks. At the wool sales to-day, 8800 bales were catalogued. The tone of the market was firm, with active demand. For low scoured, prices were rather weaker. .
