Muils close at the Chief Post Office;, Timaru for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under;— Wednesday, Dec 3. For Northern ports of New Zealand, per Jane Douglas, at (5 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Tararua, at. 6 a.m. For Australin Colonies, per Eotomahana at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 0. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Penguin, at 1-50 p.m. The next mails for the United Kingdom, continent of Europe and America, Ac, via San Francisco, will bo closed at the Chief Post Cilice, Timaru, on Saturday, December 5. The Europiean portion of the above mails will be due in London on January 20, 1880. W. W. Berwick, Acting Chief Postmaster. Chief Post Office, Timaru, Nov 10, 1870.
