[Reuter's Agncv.] LONDON Nov. 27. The Chillians have captured Iquiquic. .Mr Gladstone, in his speech at Dalkeeth, favored local autonomy for Ireland. The total reserve of notes and bullion in the Rank of England, amounts to £19,062,500 Nov. 28. Mr Gladstone in a speech at West Calder, opposed Protection as a remedy for the agricultural distress. He condemned the policy of the Government in relation to foreign affairs. The government intend forming an army reserve of 10,0C0 men in the Dominion of Canada to be available to serve abroad. [“Age” Si’ecial.] LONDON, Dec. 29. The Government has been warned of a conspiracy to seize Cork. The powder magazine guard has been doubled, and the garrison of Cork reinforced. The Board of Public Works invite the Irish municipalities to suggest some means of relieving local distress. Mr Gladstone intends addressing the electors of North Devon. Dissatisfaction, because of Government extravagance, is increasing.
