He ul-o gainied the Highland society’s first prize at Inverness, and other prizes to travel as a stallion. Kilbowie’a dam also gained many prizes. Kilbowis gained the first at Dry men, as a two-year old, and first at Stirlingshire Shows. Kil-« bowie was purchased srom the well known breeder, Mr David Riddel, Kilbowie, and has been purchased by the Governor of Late, at a very high price. Pudigeek—Kmg of the Ring is a beautiful bay, rising five years and six months old by Kilbowie, bred by John Trethewie, Ksq. and is one of the best grown colts of his age in tbe colonies ;he is a fine bay standing 17 bands high with immense bone and substance, his dam Blossom by Lincolnshire Hero, imported by E, Q. Kermode, Esq., winner of eleven first prizes grand dam Datby by Black Champion, im. ported by (Burke, E q., g g dam by Erince, imported by J. \Y. Gieadow, Esq., g g g dam by Lincoln, imported by the late Dr. Wilmore. g g g g dam by Hussar, imported by T, Scott, Esq. Kmg of the Bing is acknowledged by the best of judges, to be the grandest cart colt of his age in the colonies, and is full of the best blood in the wotld, and will without doubt, make a fine breeder of cart stock. King of the Ring has been first twice, Midland and Hobart Town, Any mares changing owners to he paid for by the persons engaging them to the horse.
