Hart, We have subjected a sample of the above named article to a very careful chemical analysis and examinaiion. The results of the analysis, which are set forth in a separate ipport, sb>w that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solutions; It possesses a delicate and agreeable arona and a pure ana m’ld taste. It has a pure fragrant odenr ? and is absolutely from any trace of lusil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps It is very smooth to the palate and in this respect compares favorably with tne samples offered for sale.
