Report on a aamp'e of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps, received irom MrH.J. Hart, We have subjected a sample of the above named article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are set forth in a separate report, show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solutions; It possesses a delicate and agreeable arona and a pure ana mild taste. It has a pure fragrant odeur, and is absolutely from any trace of fusil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps It is very smooth to the palate aud in this respect compares favorably with tue samples offered for sale.
