London, 9th May 1877Report on a sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps, received irom MrH.J. Hart, We have subjected a sample of the above named article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are set forth in a separate report, show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solutions; It possesses a delicate and agreeable arona and a pure and mild taste. It hdS a pure fragrant ode.ur, and is absolutely from any trace of lusil or other injuiious impurity, and has evidently been cistilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps It is very smooth to the palate and in this respect compares favorably with tue samples offered for sale.
